The couple has graciously arranged accommodations for guests at Casa Cornacchi for the wedding weekend. Guests are warmly invited to stay on the estate and enjoy the full Tuscan countryside experience together.

Should you prefer alternative accommodations, you are of course welcome to make separate arrangements that best suit your travel plans.

🇬🇧 UK Citizens

• No visa required for short stays (up to 90 days in any 180-day period).

• Standard Schengen entry rules apply (passport valid for at least 3 months beyond your stay).

🇺🇸 U.S. Citizens

• No visa required for short stays (up to 90 days in any 180-day period) for tourism or events.

🇿🇦 South African Citizens

• A Schengen visa is required before travel — South African passport holders must apply for and obtain a short-stay visa at an Italian Embassy or Consulate before traveling.

(Note: Longer stays or other purposes like work/study may require a different visa — check with the Italian embassy.)

What it is:
ETIAS stands for European Travel Information and Authorisation System. It is NOT a visa — it’s an online travel authorization similar to the U.S. ESTA that must be completed before travel by citizens who currently don’t need a visa to enter Italy (e.g., UK and U.S. passport holders).

Who needs it:
✔️ Citizens of visa-exempt countries (including UK & US) travelling to Italy/Schengen for up to 90 days.
❌ Not required for travelers who already must have a Schengen visa (e.g., South African passport holders).

When it starts:
ETIAS is expected to be implemented in the last quarter of 2026 (exact date will be announced ahead of time).

How it works:

• Apply online before your trip — the approval is linked to your passport.

• Fee is expected to be around €20 for most travelers aged 18-70 (children and seniors may be exempt).

• Valid for up to 3 years or until the passport expires, whichever happens first.

• Allows multiple short stays (max 90 days in any 180-day period).

• Even with ETIAS approval, border officials may still ask for proof of onward travel or funds at entry.

Important: ETIAS does not apply to travelers who already need a visa — they must continue to obtain the correct Schengen visa in advance

Formal invitations will be sent following your Save the Date and will include all event details, RSVP instructions, and any additional information you may need. We kindly ask that guests respond promptly once invitations are received.

The dress code is Semi-Formal Italian Garden.

Think tailored and effortless. Linen or lightweight suits in warm neutrals, earthy tones, or classic navy. Silk, chiffon, or structured midi dresses in rich, natural hues. Elevated but relaxed — as if you’re attending a sunset celebration at a Tuscan villa.

For inspiration, imagine:

• A soft beige linen suit with loafers.

• A flowing olive or earth-toned dress with gold accents.

• Polished, breathable fabrics that move beautifully outdoors.

Evenings in October can be cool, so we recommend bringing a light jacket, wrap, or layer for after sunset.

While not required, renting a car is highly recommended if you would like to explore Tuscany independently. The countryside is best experienced by car, and ride-share services are limited in rural areas.

Driving in Tuscany is generally very manageable, especially in the countryside. Roads near Casa Cornacchi are paved, scenic, and easy to navigate. We recommend renting a smaller vehicle for easier access through historic towns and narrow village streets.
